Design Management

Working directly for the Main Contractor in the capacity of Design Manager. Being the central co-ordinator for all designers and ensuring the co-ordination is undertaken in the correct sequence and in line with the contract documents. Our central role in the development of construction information makes us ideally suited to this role.

This can take many forms, such as general architectural inspection duties, full client-side quality inspection as well as snagging duties at handover.

This is a role where we would be retained by a client at construction stage, rather than being novated to the main contractor. We would undertake drawing review and site inspection to ensure client design is maintained during the construction phase, when the main contactor utilises their own architect.
