Architecture is the design of buildings, the spaces around them and the spaces within them. It brings together physical materials and creates spaces by modifying light, sound and the space within them. For us it is also about creating great spaces and places which are a balance of the functional and the delightful. We are able to work through all of the RIBA Workstage’s from 0-7.
RIBA Stages 0-2:
At early feasibility stages, we can assist in bringing the architectural brief together and developing a concept design that sets the key parameters of a project which are communicated simply in an architectural concept.
RIBA Stage 3:
We are able to produce a comprehensive design pack - in conjunction with the design team - to satisfy the requirements for the local authority and achieve planning approval - Outline or Full Planning, Listed Building or Signage Consent.
RIBA Stage 4:
Using Revit we can produce detailed and co-ordinated technical drawings and specifications, for tender and for design team co-ordination to enable clients to cost and procure a main contractor to undertake the construction work.
RIBA Stage 5-6:
Working closely with contractors and specialists, we can provide construction status drawings and specifications as well as reporting on progress and undertaking an inspection role.
RIBA Stage 7:
We can assist clients by studying buildings in use by undertaking Post Occupancy Evaluations and monitoring how the building is used once occupied.
